www.turnstyledjunkpiled.com is a great Americana website that asked me to be a part of Townes Van Zandt tribute. Here is a video of the great Townes tune "Tecumseh Valley" as performed by me and Aubrey Richmond.

"If I Had a Dollar". We shot the video at a great little honky tonk called the Cowboy Club in Van Alstytne, TX. Thanks to Melissa and Dale with Highway82MusicReview.com, Chris Claridy and Josh Davis on guitar, Bruce Alford on the drums, all those who helped and all those who came out to be a part of the video. Here's a solo bass performance I did recently of the song "Don't Look Down".

Ted's January '11 European CD Release tour was a huge success. Ted played 17 shows in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Get Back To The Land is out! - The release dates will be January 25, 2011 for Europe and I have a 16 date tour in Europe in January to promote it. The release date for the US will be May 10. It will be distributed and promoted by Dualtone Records. US tour dates through the Spring and Summer will be posted as they come.

September 10, 2009:
Ted is about to begin producing a record for the great Shy Blakeman. Shy, a Texas native, has been living in Nashville. He and Ted met at a songwriter's night at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, TX a few years back and became fast friends. The album will be recorded in L.A. and Nashville and will feature many of the players from Poor Man's Paradise and Divisadero as well as special guests Marc Ford (Black Crowes, Booker T.), Kenny Vaughan (Lucinda Williams, Marty Stuart), and Ron Dziubla (Royal Crown Revue). The record will feature a few of Ted's songs and will be titled "Long Distance Man".
